Pish , againThat's why I can't understand all this 'I wish him well' and 'do us proud' stuff. It's not like The King of Kings leaving after giving us his prime despite being capable of playing for and being pursued by the biggest clubs in the world. It's not like the Maestro, who even our Hun rivals heaped praise on and who could've played for a top club in England, but who stayed with his club even when we were finishing third in the league and faced potential destruction.
This is a young player who could've stayed and become a bona fide legend by the age of 23 or 24 - and STILL go on to get a big(ger) money move to a club playing at an elite level.
But nah, he clearly wanted whatever Arsenal offers (ahem) more than 10-in-a-row.
Every player has there price and unfortunately playing in Scotland doesn’t help in clubs paying the true value of a player that’s why there’s always add on’s and % sell on fees. Board have to run a business the players are the ones with the true choice if they stay or go.The blame goes first for the board and after for Tierney
It doesn't matter if a player wants to leave. He can't leave as he have signed a contract
The blame goes clearly for the board, letting him go or not demanding 250mil for selling him.
So in that’s situation you’d choose to go to Arsenal even though your still contracted for another few yearsPish , poor post
His buyout clause was 25mill, that was met so it’s up to the player then... end ofThe blame goes first for the board and after for Tierney

We earned so much money from titles,Europe, selling big players and other factors such us World Cup for the international players, the windfallsEvery player has there price and unfortunately playing in Scotland doesn’t help in clubs paying the true value of a player that’s why there’s always add on’s and % sell on fees. Who said it wasn't getting reinvested? Window doesn't close for a month yet.We earned so much money from titles,Europe, selling big players and other factors such us World Cup for the international players, the windfalls
and yet no Investment among selling KT
that's mafia, not business
Spot on BL, the lad must have wanted away, we can't blame the board for this one, we can only blame them if we don't invest a good wedge of the fee, here's hoping. ?His buyout clause was 25mill, that was met so it’s up to the player then... end of
cami beleive for a minute KT wanted tae leave hes being sacrificed by the board tae fund eh revelution same thing happened tae mcgeady but at eh sametime nobody can deny him e chance tae earn mega bucks ! GOD BESS TIERNEYIf a player wants to leave, the board isn't going to price him out of a move. He'd just hand in a transfer request and it'd get messy. I agree £25 million is an undervaluation, but it's an undervaluation that was reached partly due to KT wanting to leave Celtic.
KT is a class player, who will have a deadly career wherever he goes. I just thought that he was a Celt through and through and I thought he definitely wouldn’t leave before even hitting close to his prime years and of course 10iar. Want him to do well like I wanted VVD to do well when he left. But unfortunately they’ll never go down in the same category as Lenny, Boyd, McStay ect who gave us there best yearsI think it would be a damn shame if fans turned on the lad, he's young, and maybe the bright lights of the premiership has turned his head, I can understand people being miffed about a hoops man wanting to leave, but walk a mile in my shoes and all that, we are all hoops men who if we played at paradise none of us would want to leave, but as none on this forum will ever get the chance to do that, none of us really know what it's like to be in his position.
The board are under pressure now as they know this is a sore one for the troops to take, I hope they step up to the plate and spend a good chunk of this money. ?
