Mark Lawwell

Every top team needs to look to the future rather than look back on the past. Our team that started on Sunday had only 3 players who had started the season. Ralston, McGregor and Taylor. This is an Ange team. Not a Lennon team. Our model is to buy cheap and sell at a profit. eg Ajer, Van Dyck, Dembele. Great players are not usually cheap. We need to look for talent that can be turned into greatness. It's a big planet and football is played in every country. Maeda (Japanese) crossed the ball for Jota (Portugese) to score. They speak the language of football. There is football talent globally and we need to unearth it before someone else does. Mark has been entrusted by Ange to do this. How many new players will we have when we start in Europe on 6th September

Maybe he'll now do the opposite and start loaning Celtic players to Man City? Hopefully Barkas, Bolingoli and Ajeti will be playing at the Etihad next season!!!
Ach, Man City don't really play with a striker, so Ajeti wouldn't get a looky-in..........oh, wait a sec, he's as much a striker as a flea in the air, so he might hae a punchers chance doon there.

In a similar vein, Pep likes his keepers to play with their feet and God knows that Barkas doesn't know how to use his hands, so he might fit in well doon there too.

Ange truly was a gift and Peter had been fully briefed on the new manager from his son.

You are the only person I have seen , that has made this comment.
Well done.
IMO Ange would never have been at Celtic if we hadn’t had reliable inside information. Who better than your son who worked with Ange for 4 years.
it is absolutely the core point in this discussion.
So if Lawwell junior is endorsed by Ange, we accept it, and move on.
