There's nae prize for being the youngest, or the oldest
But, there is a lot to be said, for reaching the 'back 9'
Even in my late mid to 50's, I could outwork most of the young guys, I had working for me
Just thankful to have reached the age I am today, and have family and friends, who are in my corner

when i was wee the bins were called midgies in my areaI'm aware of the term binraker but midgieraker is new to me, I had a sheltered upbringing apparently
no idea why but suspect it was the wee flies hanging about them
Occassionaly you would find a lucky didgy so i assue 1 bin was a didgy a collection were midgies

aye when you didnt get birthday presents or xmas presents and starved 3 days every week sometimes finding something hanging out a bin that was rubbish to somebody else was a treasure to me.Aw didgy...aye ?

and taking an old trolley up to gartcosh coal bing to collect some unusuable coal was a luxury
