That's the price for one player, £25m. Add on the other payments for players, the £9m for the coaching team. Selling players for £10m and replacing them with £2m projects will come back to bite you on the ass. Thought mebbe the hidden hand of Lawwell was conspiring to keep the illusion of competition alive for another while. Early Sunday kickoffs should be banned with no games taking place until people can be expected to have negotiated the emotionally-fragile stage of hangover recovery.

Plus wages,plus retaining key players on longer more lucrative contracts,we're already paying 70% of our income on wages,so maybe we should go down the sevco route!
