Dear God, ok I'll try and make this nice and simple. It's not just the earth that's spinning and flying through space, it's also earth's atmosphere! OK I've lost you already.
Imagine sitting in a car doing 50mph, if the car has a roof and all the windows are closed is your hair being blown around? Of course not because that atmosphere that surrounds you (the interior of the car) is traveling at the same speed as you. If you open the window and stick your head out then the effect of speed without an atmosphere to protect you would be felt.
Have a cup of tea on a plane, does the tea get blown out the cup because you're travelling at 650mph? No because its protected by an atmosphere. Comprende?

So you really think the earth spins at over 1,000mph from west to east and the earths atmosphere is travelling with it at over 1,000mph, then the higher up in the atmosphere, it must be spinning faster right? So if the atmosphere is spinning from west to east, how can we get winds going in the opposite direction, from east to west, winds go in any direction and how could airplanes land if the runways are moving?

Imagine if we were brought up being taught from childhood at school that the earth was stationary, just as we experience it. Then some people try to convince you that the earth is NOT stationary but it's moving at 32 times the speed of a bullet and not only that, it's spinning over 1,000 mph. These people would be laughed at and rightly so. You would say to these people, "you are crazy, of course the earth is not moving - it's obvious it's not moving" These "Spinning Earth" crazy people would be asked to prove that the earth spins but there is no scientific evidence to support it. People would say to these crazy people "OK dafty, how do you explain a fixed, calm atmosphere and the Sun’s observable movement, how do you explain that?" Imagine if the "Spinning Earth" crazy people then said "no, no, the atmosphere is moving also and it's somehow magically velcroed to the moving-earth so it moves with the earth at the same speed" You would rightly think these the "Spinning Earth" crazy people were on magic mushrooms or something!

Face it Hoopy, the moving-Earth theory is nonsense and the stationary-Earth theory makes sense. The Freemasons are laughing at us, when they reach 33rd degree level they are let in on the secret. We are being ridiculed and we've fallen for it because we were taught this ridiculous story about the earth spinning since childhood. You’ve got to picture it being the other way around to realize just how RIDICULOUS this situation is. This theory from the Government and NASA that the Earth is rotating and orbiting and leaning over and wobbling is absolute nonsense and yet people are clinging to it, tightly, like a teddy bear. They just can’t bring themselves to face the possibility that the Earth is stationary though ALL the evidence shows it is. We feel no movement, the atmosphere hasn’t been blown away, we see the Sun move from East-to-West, everything can be explained by a motionless Earth.

As an individual, you (and others like you) have every right to develop a theory and practice your life according to that belief or value system.

What you don't have, is the right to attempt to enforce your belief/value system on other people.

A person's dissemination of their version of truth is always subjective and will vary from faith to faith, nation to nation, person to person and atom to atom.

The point is, is that I agree with you on one vital tenet: that truth (whatever that truth may be) has been determined by others, and often historically so. The major flaw in any version of truth based on an historical context, is that that truth does not always account for the version proposed by the vanquished. The truth was determined by the scholars of the Victors.

I do not agree with many (if any) of your other assertions, Thai Tim. No amount of pseudo-intellectualism, photoshopped pictures, bastardised argument and howling from the rooftops will change my mind.

You also make reference to being insulted by the naysayers of your value system, but that is hypocrisy in its base form, as all you have done throughout your discourse is to mock faith, insult sensibility and criticise a value consensus which doesn't comply with your own.

It's ok to be scared of science. The nature of space and infinity means that it is beyond our level of understanding. That is why we depend on faith to help us navigate the universe and that is why you have your own value system that helps you (as an individual) to make sense of an endless universe of possibilities.

Your 'falling down' moment is in the fact that you are trying to force a perspective on folk in a manner which is little different from the methods used by religious organisations and governments that you despise. You are attempting to force your will upon others and indoctrinate them into a flawed version of your own truth which has no credibility or factually based evidence.

One other valid point you do raise can be established when you describe many flat-earthers as being intellectually gifted. I do believe that, but I believe that they are only attempting a power-play maneuver to control and influence weaker minds (much in the same way that the brain tank behind Trump decided to appeal to controllable evangelists and inferior thinkers).

By allowing them that level of control and influence, you have also allowed them to indoctrinate you into their way of illogically thinking.
