Agree but that was the question what defines Legend I put the ones I think are you put up yours.Define Legend
For me
I would say that faither and the rest of the Lions are the true Legends because they made their mark in World Football.
You could argue that all of their careers were cut short by big Jock
Most have admitted that they were transferred out without a say or choice.
They would gave happily down 10 years and been one club men.
Other legends have to be King Kenny and Henrick.
Both owe much of their success to the club
Both recognised though that to win in Europe that they couldn't do it at Celtic.
Broony James and CalMac will be club legends and maybe Scottish Football legends but until we start lighting up Europe they will never be footballing legends outside Scotland.
Griff has his chance to be a club legend but he's in danger if pissing all over it.
Modern day one men club Broony, Jamsie Forrest, Cal Mac, Tam Rogic all 0n 7 or more seasons and have all drove us to success.Something I've been wondering for a few days now. Should we redefine the definition of the word Legend?
A mate of mine considers Dembele to be a Legend, something I'd never even gave a second's thought beforehand and I'm actually on the fence with. But going by past Legends, they were rightfully given the term due to their achievements and performance with us and giving their best years to us - something that players these-days no longer do due to the pull of stronger leagues, more money, etc. I feel if we're stuck in the past requirements of what it takes to become a legend here then we won't have any to tell our grandkids about. So what, now-a-days, for you, does it take to be classed as a modern Celtic Legend?
Thoughts?
I'm not sure you can call ex-Hibee Broony a one clib man. But he is undoubtedly a Celtic legend.Modern day one men club Broony, Jamsie Forrest, Cal Mac, Tam Rogic all 0n 7 or more seasons and have all drove us to success.

Wtf, man. Broony's been here that long I kinda buried this information and convinced myself he always belonged to us. This digging up of memories is not welcome, Bridie!Youโve ruined the song Bridie

Led me to remembering the signing of Gravason as well, come to think of it. They all laughed when we were linked to him, saying no chance. Walked into work that morning with the paper and wound them all up. "Who won't sign for us?" The faces, manWtf, man. Broony's been here that long I kinda buried this information and convinced myself he always belonged to us. This digging up of memories is not welcome, Bridie!
Joking aside. It feels like a Goddamm life time ago since he signed. Remember being ootside the Art Gallery, pished oot ma tits, when we heard. Was buzzing cos all the Huns in ma work at the time thought they where signing him they got stuck with that Thompson clown
Sobered up yet, chief?Same thing son
Forgot he played for any one else, how time flys and the memory diminishesI'm not sure you can call ex-Hibee Broony a one clib man. But he is undoubtedly a Celtic legend.

Aye - this getting aulder is hard. Mind when the deadco fans were singing his name but he was laughing to himself cos he knew he was away to join our clib (sorry, club).Forgot he played for any one else, how time flys and the memory diminishes
