What the hell is going on?

Listen stop that! One thing I can assure you is your description of me are well off the mark ! It's because iam Celtic through and through that I feel it's the only way I can let the fans know what is going on, I understand that you are angry and I dare say that a stray pavement pirate can get on the forum ? But I can assure you that I am not one! so let's give you an example of maintenance at the stadium , it is the least important department in the place where budgets are concerned, catering and hospitality are funded more! As for the stadium manager he is only interested in saving money to get a healthy bonus, a Newcastle United fan with no interest in Celtic football club whatsoever ? for a stadium of our size do you think a maintenance staff of five is adequate to keep things under control?

Next time you are in the jock stein lower concourse have a look at the staircase at 138 leading to the kerrydale entrance it's like a derelict building because of the water
I don't get to too many games but was at a recent home match in the jock stein lower. The back of the seat was broken and every time I sat back I was on top of the man behind me. Very uncomfortable.

Totally agree you have hit the nail on the head, the amount of leeches in our club is frightening and iam speaking as someone who is in paradise every day of the week! you wouldn't believe what goes on at times? there's people in top jobs in there who don't know what it is to be a Celtic fan and to be perfectly Frank don't give a toss as long as they are well looked after, the seats are well overdue an overhaul as they are falling apart , the stadium needs to be watertight and the fans are being short-changed on the park all for the sake of keeping costs down and filling their own bank accounts with fat bonuses and benefits all in the name of a good balance sheet ! sorry but this has to be said as the fans deserve to know what is going on ? it's soul destroying the pennypinching in the place and it kills me to say it
You must be high up at Celtic park to be privvy to the information you alledgedly have. Stinks like a hun to me.
HH?

With the exception of the huns and their incredible gullibility , I doubt there is a fan in the country who is fully satisfied at the efforts of their respective boards.

Why should we be any different?

I'm not entirely comfortable with qualified accountants having such an important role in transfer negotiations and I'm not exactly happy at some of their political connections either.

On the other hand, I'd rather what we have than the rogues gallery over at the shite hole.

The stadium gets incremental renovation. It's a bit like the Forth Rail Bridge, it just gets done in perpetuity. An entire overhaul puts the whole place out of commission and it is currently being used over 200 days a year for various events.

In a massive stadium, it just takes time to get around it all.

The board do have to be much more vocal on many issues. We're being rode roughshod over and that is totally unacceptable.

Look Lawwell is on a productivity bonus on top of his wages, its in his best interest not to reduce the end of fiscal year post tax profit , ie its in his best interest to maximise his bonus by not spending on players, loans are much better for him, as it goes straight on the wage bill and has a much smaller dent to the bottom line, only way for this to change and get better players in is to change the terms of his contract, he has had his day, 15 years to be precise , time to bring in a hungry new chief exec, not to say that any new exec wont go the same way , but 15 years of Lawwell has bred complacency and benefit in kind to Lawwell at Celtics expense, he has lorded it over Celtic, its managers and players for long enough.

And the introduction of fixed-term contracts.

Bonuses only payable under extraordinary circumstances.

Wrong! not a Hun just I want us to get as far ahead as possible from those peepul we can't give an inch because they'll take a yard that's all iam trying to get at hail hail

its become a personal fiefdom for Lawwell, and his influence is spreading out , all these chief execs cosying up with each other , inter club loans , keep it in the family , and the money to them keep running their way
I agree it's important to develop relationships with other clubs, but the family connection with man city is impacting on our relationship with our traditional partners.

It served its purpose to a certain degree, but it's only worthwhile if it is mutually beneficial.

Get the feeling that it's a bit one-sided and favoured towards city

1stly we've got importand issues on the park to address. Secondly you go on about derelict building or at least a semblance of which Joe Blogs would have already brought the subject up before now. You talk of peoples bonuses which you appear to have knowledge of. You are talking shite so i suggest you crawl back to your knuckle dragging friends.
Have a nice day and Hail Hail?
