Not a great performance but it WAS a great result especially when you consider Kilmarnock is a tough enough place to go at the best of times (their good form coupled with that shitty plastic pitch) never mind after suffering a taxing European defeat 3 days before.

We need to be much better than today but the most important thing was securing those 3 points and putting distance between ourselves and the rest.

Poor performance and poor game on a disgrace of a pitch made worse by Killie deliberately not watering it to slow the ball down. Their choice, they can do as they please but It’s the supporters, and those watching on tv who are cheated. Killie are a decent team so shouldn’t need to resort to making fast flowing football impossible.
Hayes MOTM by a distance, great full back performance both defensively and getting forward. Toljan also played great, never saw Jones all game such was Jerry’s domination of him.
Given the context of one of our most difficult away games, on a dreadful pitch and with only 48 hours rest after a home defeat to Valencia, a magnificent result. 8 points clear, 12 games to play, 8 in a row almost there.
