Celtic or religion or politics?

I joined this forum for all things Celtic related. Does come hand in hand with politics and religion? I'd like to think not. However many people seem to think otherwise.
Example is Maria. She finishes a recent post with " up the RA". I fail to see what this has to do with Celtic. Yes with Irish roots. Does that make us all IRA sympathisers? I hope to God no. In my opinion nothing to do with Celtic.
HH?

If you are going to name someone (Maria in this instance) then best to actually quote their post so the context of ‘Up the RA’ (in this instance) can be seen as that’s a phrase many would see as perfectly acceptable on a Celtic site.

As an aside, I’ve noticed a few of your recent posts are quite controversial and seem to welcome argument (rather than peaceful debate)... maybe tone it down a wee bit especially since your ‘Lenny brings it on himself’ bollocks is still fresh in the memory of many members here

But YES, politics, religion, Ireland, IRA, Provos etc etc are all subjects that will at times be discussed on a Celtic forum

If you want to come for me stevie just come be upfront about it.

I think your a hun. You have hun ethics and condone and justify blaming neil lennon now your banging on about religion.

Away n get your head checked its clearly roasted

Oh and if your looking for support over a lassie, good luck no baws

To be fair, stevie....many of us are products of our environment and the experiences we have had.

I'm a proud Catholic, but that is not why I support Celtic.

My Ma' and Da' were displaced natives of Ireland, but that is not why I support Celtic.

I am a progressive socialist with a leftist perspective, but that is not why I support Celtic.

My family were the most influential factor, but not based on any of the aforementioned features.

We support the club in 60, 000 different ways (and the rest).

Despite some of the disparity in our views and beliefs - there is still more that unites us as a community, than that which divides us.

Support Celtic your own way, stevie.......you have earned that right. We may disagree with someone tonight, but the liklihood is that we'll agree with the same person on another topic tomorrow.

Hail Hail brother

I`m with Maria on this, personal attacks are just not on.

I can take it, if you dish you must take imo.
What i find nauseating is he cant reply to me directly.

Why is that?

Is he a wee twisted chauvinist?

Anyone can come for me and i would at least respect them if they were as direct as me.

Not this throwing stones from the bushes, i just think shoitebag.

Troll Alert Troll Alert. I have been puzzled by a few of SB67 posts, but I believe this just confirms what I was thinking. If you are a Tim stop pontificating on the free speech of others. Is it just one of those sad @rseholes who has went to the trouble of creating a profile and building trust and confidence before starting to pepper posts with h@n sh@te, then away and get a life son. You're only embarrassing yourself.

There seems to be the same pattern with shite stirrers. They won't/can't engage with you directly. I've actually noticed this in the past on other sites when having and argument with a Hun. They just can't bring themselves to converse directly with you. You may have just unknowingly uncovered something Maria!

So now I'm a hun and shit stirrer? Please get a grip. I post it how i see it and if you disagree that's fine. I don't lose any sleep and stand by what i have said. I'm not a sheep and mindlessly follow others. Maybe that's my problem.
