My brother used to work beside Charlie Richmond about 10 + years ago , " a really nice guy, who rarely spoke of his other job" SPFL referee and he told him he was quitting because the game here was a pals act in regards to which referee got which games , always the same 3 or 4 to get the bigger games and though they had the refs , enough to rotate them for games it was never the case.

I asked him did he ever say anything about the side he supported and was told that he'd always been open about what side he used to watch going up, Ayr.

My brother automatically took that for a polite way of saying rangers as Ayr is full of huns and though it may well be there's also plenty of tims in and around Ayr.

Interesting to hear a referee ( former) calling out the pals act bias in our game, we all know it but rarely hear it from one of them .
 
Regardless of what tinted coloured glasses you wear, whether you believe the killie player elbowed Taylor or Taylor purposely smashed his face into the killie players elbow or whether you believe the killie player was onside or his shoulder was, as seen in the picture, offside. Whether you believe Haksa went down to easy or the killie player kicked his shin then dragged his foot back.....no matter how you look at it, the game had controversial moments in it. So for the ref to then end the game by laughing and joking with the opposition manager shows his lack of professionalism and his distain for our club.
Would his reaction have been the same had we won the match....or had Killie just beaten the scum. I don't think so. If he wants to laugh and joke. Do it in the changing room or tunnel. Not in the middle of the fucking park. They don't give a shit about hiding it anymore.
And once again, our board do and say fucking nothing!
And yes...it is petty having a moan about the ref having a giggle...."they are human" blah blah blah....but this is a guy who has just cheated our club...
 
This is where our boards insistence on being back of the bus timmys comes back to bite us on the arse. We can't always be amazing. The players have off days...and when they do...they deserve a level playing field to give them a chance. The stress on our young players, playing for a club where anything other than a win is seen as a massive failure, must be emence. To have that pressure added to, because a group of referees, on the pitch and in a portacabin, can't see by their own bias in order to do their jobs professionally is a fucking disgrace....and for the Celtic board to allow it is even worse.

It is what it is young Lubo, Celtic board are useless when it comes to standing up for us. Until they do then this is only going to get worse.

So by the look of things....the guys and girls, on here, who were right....were actually right about BR coming back, being a bad thing.
The players don't like his style, CalMac doesn't like the fact his wings have been clipped in terms of dressing room leadership. The sports science has changed, causing injuries to pile up, BR is complaining that he needs "quality" signings, which appear that the board are refusing to give him because they are unhappy that he was brought back in the 1st place....and all that on top of the fact VAR have made it clear we are getting fuck all this season....😬😬😬😬 Bring on Real Madrid 🫣

Shite is right!

Our players are regularly assaulted…..the cheating is getting worse…..our supporters, players and officials are being attacked, et al…..and our custodians are doing nothing…..there has to be a reason for this.

It’s about time we demanded answers of them as to why these things are being totally ignored and they stood up and protected our people and our interests.….
