One case of Covid in NZ and the whole country is put into Level 4 (the max)

In my experience it is the younger mob who don't seem to give much of a fuck, not all of them of course but it's fairly common, I went into the local shop tonight and 3 pricks in front of me were mask-less, all guys in their 30s, probably un-vaccinated, don't sanitise their hands, no doubt thinking they're immune. Selfish, arrogant cunts is what springs to my mind, how many families have been destroyed by this virus? How many vulnerable folk have had to isolate for months on their own to stay safe? How many folk have been forced to miss their loved ones last moments or funerals because of the pandemic? And these cunts can't even be arsed wearing a mask, I have no idea how effective masks are but it shows you give a bit of a fuck about your family, neighbours, the vulnerable, your community etc. I'll never wish ill on anyone but if anyone deserves this virus it's those self centred bastards.

My boys work in the trades and I'm happy that they do, as Apps, don't build houses

Thats the thing i dont feel like I need to be immunised the elderly without a doubt shud be vaxxed first and the people like ursel with illnesses but I stand by if ur young fit and in general good health then u shud be fine even if u get covid now theres a alot of different things that can affect that statement but In the main if ur healthy u will be fine thats never changed from day one thats why I'm really uneasy with vax mandates for children just doesn't sit rite with me but most adults have something wrong so we tend to be fucked🤷‍♂️
 
I stopped at a petrol station a couple of weeks ago and the missus nipped in for a can of juice, she was holding the door open for this grey trackie wearing bellend who'd just jumped out a works van, when she seen he was maskless she just let go of the door, thankfully maskless, trackie wearing bellend was too busy looking at his phone and walked straight into the door! Karma ya cunt if you'd been wearing a mask that wouldn't have happened, see they do protect! 😹

Thing is Cairnsy you don't just get vaccinated to protect yourself, you're protecting others. Vaccinated folk have less chance of catching it and far less chance of passing it on to others who may be at risk. Its like the mask wearing, you're protecting others by doing it not protecting yourself.
A woman near us died earlier this year, in her early 40s no underlying health issues, 2 young kids, we all have to do our bit to prevent tragedies like that
