I have a book written about 1840 called The History of the Scots rebellion about the 1745 rebellion. Prince Charlie landed at Glenfinnan and made his way East then South picking up Volunteers as he went. He finally got to Glasgow and put out a call for Volunteers. 4 people Volunteered. Outraged by this The Jacobites went around Glasgow taking the shoes aff people for the long trek to Derby.
I gave my taxi driver mate a loan of the book. The car parked next to his got petrol bombed and Tonys taxi and my really old book ended up collateral damage.

How often do their lies come back to bite them on the arse. They get all their chums in the media to tell everyone that there is a (fictitious) bid coming in for their latest Superstar from an unnamed rich club for £10millions. That player's agent then shows them their made up liesas proof that the player is worth more money and they renegotiate their contract paying them thousands of £s per week. Then they can't offload their overhyped dross because no-one will match their wages.

They did this with Kent & Morelos sevetal timesand then they left for free anyway.

Now the clowns in their fanbase trully believe that Beale spent a £13m warchest this summer! Aye right - of course they did! And now their fans are using this fantasy figure to highlight how inept they are.

It is hilarious. Beale must stay!

I remember back in the early 1980s a senior brother high up in Deadco FC insisting in a tv interview that they did NOT employ a sectarian policy - it was just that there had never been a catholic good enough to be bought by them.

When the intervewer shocked him by blurting out "What? Even Pele? He is a catholic!" The Deadco bigot spluttered that no, Pele wasn't good enough to be signed by them.

So, you see, Pele wasn't that good after all.
