THE MINISTER FOR COCAINE

everybody's got a past. Most of us are bright enough not to tell the whole world when we fuck up.
On the other hand, lying about taking by drugs to sound popular is the action of a complete fuckwit.
Either scenario means you are unelectable. How stoopid people get to be politicians is beyond me. I blame the schools you know.

Maybe they have to be stoopid, Weedoc.

In my experience, i have witnessed;

Non-Drinkers look down at Drinkers

Drinkers look down at Recreational Drug users

Rec Drug Users look down at Heroin Users.

Everybody is so busy feeling smug n superior looking down their noses at others their not looking at what is on their own doorstep or has the potential to be on their own doorstep.

Nobody thinks about tackling the misery.

And the govt ? They make so much money off booze n cigarettes they are pushing it.

Do they go after the pushers of drugs not nearly as much as they should but they do like a proceeds of crime order where its kerching (pardon the pun) all the way to the bank.

It is sick to the core and all the perfect people? Beware it could be at your own door.

Good to see people turning their lifes around, just shows its never too late ?
Thanks for positing that link, P
A very powerful, emotive story on people who have been at their lowest ebb & have the courage and convction, to rise up and change their lives for the better
Many of us, have been touched by drink & drugs, in our immediate family & circle of friends
Have lost more than a few, because of it
Society needs to understand, that people need a hand up, not a handout

I do not know the guy at all but using cocaine 20 years ago when he was a journalist seems to me irrelevant to his current job.

You'll get no preaching from me on the subject of drug use mate but I'd say it's pretty relevant when Gove as Education Secretary introduced policy to have teacher's struck off if it could be proven that they'd ever used drugs......so no second chances for the teachers but it's ok for him to go on and run the f*cking country ......incredible hypocrisy and sense of entitlement from that creepy wee Tory goblin!

It's funny how things work eh......when it's the ordinary guy or lassie on the street they're written off as cokeheid/junkie scum but when it's some high flying politician it's all just the jolly japes of the zany upper classes?

HH mate.

He didn’t own up. A journalist writing a book about him
Found out. The weasel faced Tory bastard would never have owned up.
