A transfer, clickbait, football news of any kind & in general just whats on your mind thread

Love it, Canni whack a chit n curd
I bought myself some black bramble jam the other day 😊
It’s nearly done

Aye, Mrs makes her own Jam, when a Jar appears in the cupboard it's generally scoffed with in 36hrs, bit like any homemade Scones or a couple of fruit loafs. Generally the people who put too much jam on things get caught, ie school uniforms, work clothes etc, mean while I always get the blame, until the real culprits make a mistakes 😂😂😂

Aye, just put in a Grocery delivery order. In 6mths its went up 30%. There's not a meal in it, saves me in the hassle of going for it

Flour(Plain&SR)
Dried Fruit(Currants/Sultanas/Mixed Fruit) Sugar(White/Brown) Teabags(DECAF) Coffee(Instant/Filter) Korma Sauce Lrg Jars Pasta(Various) Herbs/Spices(Various)
Diluting Juice. Various Mixers, Holsten, Red Vino, Rose Vino, Flavoured Gin, Whisky(Malt of Month)

Watched the fan media Q&A with Ange and big hart and the other various Ange vids that have come out past day or so.
What I loved about both guys was how they both said that they are loving everything ' the moment' and how they would do it for nothing.
It didnt take a lot to sell Ange to me but joe Hart I was not a fan of and thought him a mercenary as so many players are these days but the big man has won me over and I loved his humility in response to WCs Scott Brown proposition.
" I'm least qualified even less than you "
Goalies are always highlighted for mistakes more than others and hes made some but his passion and commitment to the cause cannot be questioned.
Won a watch getting him in the door and he has been top of his game really buying into it.
Anges 2 top moments as Celtic boss I thought he was going to say the first trophy but no once again humility and the top 2 moments are getting the job and leading out the team for the first European night as Celtic boss.
We are in good hands with guys like this and it will be interesting to see how the next window goes.

IMHO…too much is made of billionaires bringing success to football clubs.
If you’ve got 200 billion in the bank and prepared to spend 10% of that on a club, its virtually impossible not to be successful.
Big Jock and the team of 67…now thats what you call success.
Built out of nothing for virtually nothing, all local to 30 miles and reached the pinnacle of European football.
That should be lauded as one of, if not THE single greatest achievement in the entire history of the competition.
Not crooked billionaires building teams with stolen laundered cash.
Get them all to feck out of football and return it to some kind of normality, it was getting bad enough with SKY putting silly money into EPL coverage but since these clowns came along its just lost the plot completely.
I use that argument about Big Jock better than Ferguson.
Big Jock won the big cup with local lads.
Ferguson had the pick of any player in the world to buy.
Even I could win it with the pick of world footballers.

the inter milan manager couldnt when he was playing big jocks poor man side :p

you still need to manage the egos of a team of prima donna mercenaries

I agree big jock was better manager, i think ferguson would agree tbh, i think he loved big jock too.

But ferguson was top manager top too, to be able to win big cup too, since he had lot of divisive players albeit top talents

heres a wee glimpse of the hidden powers of the inner city of london,

i didnt realise bowler hats are in reference to roundheads financed by the independent finance of city of london :p

Current UK debt 2.2Trillion
In that article:https://www.ft.com/content/7c8f24fa-3aa5-11e4-bd08-00144feabdc0

‘In September 2008, we glimpsed for a moment the consequences of having a financial sector, prone to volatility and vice, as the driver of our national economy. Some £1.6tn was transferred to the banks so that the economy could continue to function.’

thieving barstewards!

socialism for the 1 percent

slavery and taxation for their serfs

they gamble the income and get bonuses if it works
if it fails the tax payer bails them out and the 1 percent get bonuses

And you cant get to investigate the coruption inside the city of london because it has protected status and secrecy laws preventing transparent audits

Exactly TT. Drives me nuts that anyone with less than a million in cash would vote for that mob!

It was always the case, that for the 1st 5year term of an Independent Scottish Govermeant, we would keep the Crown. After then1st term is over, we'll be asked about keeping the Crown, when electing our MSP's.

The majority of Scits do not want a Royal as Head of State,, personally I would bin them straightaway, I would rather any money raised in Scotland be spent in Scotland. Not a fuckin penny should be given.
In the olden days they used to behead them.
I would be much crueller I would give them a job.

Of course your correct TT about Alex Ferguson what he done for Aberdeen says it all.
Its just a argument I use against the English idiots that come on Celtic/Scotland forum to stir us up.
Example; they complain about the standard of Scottish football.
I point out altho its been 55yrs since we won the big cup.
Is it really 56 yrs since England won anything.
OK Scotland might be crap with a population of 5mil.
England is crap with a population of 50 mil. so who are the worst.
You get the picture. Its like getting one over your ex :)

Anybody watching the Brighton Liverpool game.
Refreshing to watch pundits who have nothing but fair objective views regardless of who they played for.
Contentious tackle by the Brighton goalie in the first half, a la Roofe style but absolutely no where near as bad but unanimously condemned, the ref didny even issue a card or check VAR either.
If that had been a Sevco player up here Sportscene would have been bumping their gums about the other team getting a dodgy throw in and ignoring the broken neck.

We call that BlackBerry jam. I make it every year with the young ones. The blackberries grow wild here in August so we pick them then and put them in the freezer until we run out of jam and the make a new batch. I have 14 lbs of black berries in the freezer at the minute. Itll make about 30 pots of jam. I give a lot of it away to family. My oul aunt makes lemon curd. It's fuckin lovely, I could eat it with a spoon.

Todays attempt at unsettling a very quickly settling new team has seen "Football fan cast " an online publication trying their best to destabilise the club and support with stories old and older.
1 has " Celtic former player Mcavennie saying that " if" and it's no more than if/perhaps/maybe ( no doubt a loaded question that were not privy to) Celtic haven't got a set price for the option to buy CCV then someone's not done their job properly as the price could rise . This is true of course but only " if" we haven't and the piece doesn't say " if" we have or havent though even if we have nothings set in stone anyway so attempt number one.
2 and again Football fan cast are saying that the McCarthy deal has been a huge blunder given his lack of game time , no mention of the fact he wasnt fit when he signed and might be next season before we see the best of him, attempt number 2.
3. And yes once more its Football fan cast , telling us of the huge mistake we made in allowing Christie to bournemouth for a paltry fee is a nightmare scenario , but didnt he leave the club last year so why is it todays news? Plus his contract was up and we could do nothing but cash in as much as possible for a wantaway player Aye you're correct to assume its attempt number 3.
4. And surprisingly enough from Football fan cast and how " hoops have nightmare with missing out on john McGinn", I may be mistaken , I'm not though , this 23 hour old piece of news is telling us something weve known for a good long time 2 seasons ago at least, we are not gullible, there is no "how do we not know these things ? " Attempt number 4 .
4 attempts from the same outlet on the same day and neither of the 4 are news to any of us.
The fact that this platform has to go back so far is worthy of noting the panic is seeping into the ibrokes PR machine as they become aware of how their Europe league campaign has seen a dramatic swing in points and domestic momentum for the hoops and frankly they will have to do a lot better than that to unsettle this current crop of a new team Ange has built in double quick time.
Panic, fear , pain , even a Scottish cup exit will not derail this side from the title and the ultimate champions league goal that's now within touching distance as we stick to the one game at a time metholodgy that has taken us so far so quickly and will deny a certain club cash and a title that only 5 weeks ago they were stick ons for.
If anything it shows just how quickly things can change in the game , no one knows this better than us and these pitiful attempts are as pathetic as they are desperate
