im saying if the people who headlined “thugs n thieves” around a celtic teams xmas doo,,that never happend??are feeding us their take on proceedings on an subject concerning our club then a huge amount of salt is required….and let’s no kid ourselves if we in our daily goings on are buying or selling anything we want the best deal possible???

LIVERPOOL are making plans in case they lose Caoimhim Kelleher to Celtic.

Hoops boss Brendan Rodgers is a long-time admirer of the 25-year-old Irish keeper and wants him to move north to Glasgow.
A switch is most likely in the summer, but Kop boss Jurgen Klopp is already looking elsewhere in case things speed up in this window.

The German knows Kelleher is at an age where he needs regular first-team football after being kept mainly for the cup competitions and Europa League on Merseyside.

With Celtic eager to find a long-term replacement for 36-year-old Joe Hart, Liverpool expect contact to come so Klopp has eyes on Sunderland’s Anthony Patterson as a new back-up option.

Back in September we exclusively revealed how the Reds had already rejected the Hoops interest, but they look set to return to test the wateragain.
Kelleher, 25, had hoped to quit Anfield during the summer transfer window only to miss out on some possible Premier League moves — but his exit further down the line always appeared likely.

Celts asked about the goalie’s availability but were told he would not be leaving despite his back-up status to Merseyside No 1 Alisson.

Liverpool would need to find a home-grown replacement for Kelleher, reducing the pool of potential targets they can look at - but Patterson now fits the bill.

And it is believed a move to the Hoops and the chance to become a first-choice appeals to Kelleher after so long as Anfield understudy.
The keeper has played just seven times for Liverpool - but has MORE international caps for Republic of Ireland.

He played 45 minutes for Stephen Kenny's side against New Zealand in November having last donned the gloves in March last year.

Is this goalienot supposed to be a good prospect? I know nothing about him but I know we have been linked with him for quite a while now.

He's been poor anytime I've seen him for Liverpool, usually Europa League or League Cup. Liverpool supporters don't seem to rate him, but they are probably comparing him to Allison who is one of the best in the world
