Same cant see it , he will be looking at Lennon and thinking fk thatCan't see Steve Clarke taking the manager job. He said himself that he didn't like bigotry in Glasgow.
if only GaryIf we are prepared to wait until after the Euros to get the manager we want then surely the dream team would be Roberto Martinez/Shaun Maloney.
Both would need a medical just to make sure their not mentally damagedif only Gary
struggle to think why you'd leave the No 1 international team in the world, to come up against big digger and the plastic pitches
But would it still be classed as biscuit tin from the unhappy campers?I was told a few days ago by someone who 'thinks' he is in the know, that DD has had conversations with RR. Offered RR complete autonomy over the whole football department. Since its a rumour thread
i think Clarke is a manager who gets the best out of what he has to work with
This is the type of manager that is required IMO, sexy names don't always have desired effect
It would be a Strachan type appointment, far from popular, but the Club that he left was on a far more solid footing financially and results wise
vennegoor of hesselink?Imo I believe DD knows who he wants, he's already spoken to the person.. But it is agreed with DD that the appointment won't me made till end of season. It is so that they don't tarnish the new persons reputation with this seasons mess. He doesn't want to do firefighting with these players, wants to completely overhaul team. From what I'm hearing is its a big name.
Beat me to it TETvennegoor of hesselink?
thats a big name
He was but he was also sacked from reading P53 W19 D14 L20 , at WBA P60 W 19 D 15 L26 hardly great stats for a Celtic manager. He was sacked midway through the following season after 4 defeats on the bounce.
Especially when you add Jan at the frontvennegoor of hesselink?

of course, no matter who we get it will leave some people disappointed. But would it still be classed as biscuit tin from the unhappy campers?
I just don't get the argument about delaying the appointment until the summer as I doubt if a single fan will apportion any blame to the new manager. But what it will do is give him and the players time to properly assess what is required to move on and upwards. It is a free hit for the new manager and gives us the best possible start for next season and beyond.Imo I believe DD knows who he wants, he's already spoken to the person.. We do but we didnt last time and we've paid a heavy price for thatof course, no matter who we get it will leave some people disappointed.
It's not the days of old, through finance we've a level enforced upon us and that has lifted a calibre of manager out of our grasp
We just have to get the best we can
Think this appointment will have more to do with the timing of any announcement, no point in giving the SMSM time to dig up tripe and dull the senses of the average fans, Celtic may use the timing to give the boost required during this pandemic and uncertainty.I just don't get the argument about delaying the appointment until the summer as I doubt if a single fan will apportion any blame to the new manager.
