Celtic v AZ Alkmaar.

A club statement said: "With another huge crowd expected to back the Bhoys at Celtic Park this Wednesday night (Aug, 18), we are delighted to confirm that supporters all across the world will be able to watch the game LIVE as it happens at Paradise, with a Pay-Per-View service or a Celtic TV subscription available for this crucial opening leg of the Europa League play-off tie against AZ Alkmaar.

"Such was the demand for the PPV service last week, we are pleased that StreamDigital will once again ensure our supporters all over the world who cannot be at the match in person still have the chance to enjoy all the action LIVE, priced at just £9.99.

"Whether it’s through StreamDigital or on Celtic TV, you can tune in from 7:15pm, with Gerry McCulloch live pitchside at Paradise, joined by John Hartson and John Collins bringing you all the pre-match build-up, LIVE from Celtic Park.

"Before kick-off, we’ll hear from the manager and also from new Celtic goalkeeper Joe Hart, as we hear how he’s settling in to life at Paradise.

"Guy Mowbray and John Hartson will then take over on commentary duty, as the game gets underway with kick-off at 7:45pm

"We are delighted to welcome Guy back to Celtic Park. As one of the best known commentators around and the current lead commentator on BBC Match of the Day, Guy has great memories of big Paradise European nights .

"He said: “I’ll never forget working for ITV at Celtic Park back in 2001 when Celtic beat Juventus 4-3. The noise when Chris Sutton scored to make it 4-2 was so loud it actually broke my headphones! From then, I’ve always judged the atmosphere at a game compared to that night. I’ve never experienced anything like it since so I’m looking forward to returning for this crucial Europa League play-off.”
Guy Mowbray is a great commentator as he follows the peaks and flows of any given match and doesn't let his own narrative get in the way.

With all due respect, he has no skin in the game and can talk any neutral through a game without constantly referring to stats and irrelevant data.

The most underrated football commentator currently plying his trade and he'll call it as it unfolds, whether we - or anyone else - agrees or disagrees.

Check out his previous insights and stories on YouTube and thank the fuckin lord that we won't be subjected to the majority of other arsewipes who steal a living from the game.

Win, lose or draw - this guy will call it fair and square.

Even so, remains a worry that a big offer wasn't to come in for him all the same, but seeing him back to playing brilliant and enjoying his time also as captain, would remain confident he will want to stay.
Enjoy tomorrow night as it will be a special occasion again and think the team will deliver, exciting times ahead again at last.
HH
If Palace want to buy him best put a 5 in front of the 7. Then mibbes. HH.

Still say he will get his move mancbhoy as still to many teams within the EPL without a recognised goalscorer still imo.
Not buying into this 85k nonsense currently as could be testing the water to see what potential offers could be around still.
Hope we sign this lad from Holland and not bothered weather eddy stays or goes at this stage as we have already found new heroes to appreciate with more on there way.
Eddy starting to realise we are CELTIC bigger than he will ever be, so either muck in or fuck off, as we'll be just grand either way

It's the dragons' den philosophy!

Aim high, but take the nearest available punt.

He'll never play for a team like the Glasgow Celtic though

Course he won't SP.
Still learning his trade and more improvements needed if he thinks he going to get to the dizzy heights in European football.
At a level where he might do a job for a middle tier EPL team at best, but more likely to be a team struggling with relegation, would he have the heart for such a battle?
Wouldn't want him beside me in the trenches of battle anyway, as seems to got a bit to use to the stardom role we gave him and can't ever see him getting that again.
